As Process Technician you will support manufacturing through troubleshooting and the implementation of process improvements. Your Responsibilities: To analyse process, product, material or equipment specifications and performance requirements and to complete daily checks on all laser welders. To compile and analyse operational, test and experimental data to establish performance standards for newly implemented or modified products and/or processes. Process support – trouble shooting of product defects, process issues, identifying equipment functions and faults, equipment adjustment and set up. Also support and execute product, process and equipment analysis and improvement projects as requested. To troubleshoot new products/process working closely with product development group. Machine design, machine installation, machine maintenance and preventative maintenance when required and calibration of equipment. To carry out scheduled PM’s and document same and provide process support to high volume production lines. Requirements: Third level qualification preferably Electronics Engineering or equivalent and at least three years regulated industry experience ideally within the medical devices industry. Previous experience working as a Process Technician and process improvement projects is essential. Experience of yield improvements, troubleshooting of equipment and lean manufacturing. Some mechanical or electrical design and maintenance experience would be desirable. Six sigma would be an advantage. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
