As Quality Technician you will be responsible for routine final functional testing, product release criteria testing/inspection and recording of test results. You will represent QA as first point of contact for product and process issues that arise. Your Responsibilities: Managing Non-conforming reports, Maintain and improve the quality metrics. Line walks of the production floor. Some line audits and project activity. Product release, Validation and In Process testing of Medical Devices. Implement preventative and corrective maintenance. Assist in Validation report writing. Performing product defect analysis. Assist in corrective action implementation resulting from NCR’S, Work in conjunction with Quality engineering regarding development and troubleshooting. Calibration of instruments. Requirements: Requires a Leaving Certificate level education and NCEA Certificate / Diploma in Quality / Materials / Science or relevant with 3 years’ work experience. Experience in NCEP’s have Medical device or a pharma background. Six sigma training an advantage. Some expertise in quality, MIR’s/NCEP’s etc. Tool room experience.
