EPS Group have a vacancy for an experienced Service and Installatoin Electrician. The position will be based out of ourbranch inBallyhaunis and involves covering contracts for theWestern area of the country. The ideal candidate would be a qualified electrician with 3 – 5 years proven experience in electrical maintenance preferably in the water and wastewater industry. Experience required in wiring and fault finding on single and three phase electrical motors & starters including DOL, Star Delta, Soft start & Variable speed drive installation & commissioning. The role will include installation, commissioning, calibrating, servicing and fault finding a wide range of process analytical instruments & chemical Dosing systems as well as verification of signals back to PLC for inputs and outputs as required for plant control functions. Successful candidate will have a proven ability to service, maintain & fault find electrical issues. Responsibilities; The role will primarily involve mechanical and electrical repair maintenance work in the water and wastewater industry. Installation of cable containment systems, mains cabling and low voltage, field and panel terminations. Instrumentation service, installation and calibration. Motor & Instrumentation signal verification to PLC including control function verification. Motor tests, loop impedance tests, continuity tests and issuing reports. Ability to follow Control panel schematics and trouble shoot control panel faults. Chemical dosing pumps service and calibration. Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification. Issuing service report sheets and calibration certificates. Completion of daily reports and H&S forms as required for day to day works on sites. S kills / Attributes; A minimum of 3 – 5 years experience within Water or Waste Water treatment industry. Technical and working knowledge of single and three phase motors, starters, pumps, dosing equipment (including pumps & controllers), control panels and associated instrumentation. Fault finding in general. Experience with PLC’s, automation and telemetry would also be an advantage. (IO verification. Education Requirements; Electrical Engineering/Instrumentation or RECI or ECSSA certified Electrician. Additional Requirements: Full clean driving licence. Safepass.
