Description

Support Test Engineers with NPI and general Test related Engineering Activities. Support Test Lab Technician when required. Responsibilities: Update and completion of the relevant NPI Process Documentation. Support Test Engineers with set-up of CMAT, FFT and Fisheye Systems during NPIs. Support NPI builds when requested. Support Capability and GRR report generation. Support data gathering requests from Fisheye/Test Stand server. Ensure Minimum Downtime on CMAT and FFT Lines due to NPI Setup & transfer back to Operations. Participate in the continuous improvement activities, e.g. TLR, TRP, etc. Set-up manufacturing processes in accordance with procedures and training provided by Equipment suppliers. Provide process training to both operators and other technicians. Play an active part in both New Product & Process introduction. Communication of production problems to the relevant audience – both verbal and written. Support daily running of the Test Lab when required. Raise permits and ECRs when requested. Support P1 test related activities, e.g. DFTs, Test Spec Reviews, Build Readiness meetings, etc. Generate RFQs for test equipment in support of P1 Test Engineers when requested. Submit Commerce one requests and raise Purchase Orders in support of P1/2 Test Engineers. Support IQ/OQ and PQ activities on new equipment deliveries or new P/N setups. Support IAR generation. Support New Process introduction when required. Update and generate relevant Lab related documentation. Generate detailed reports in support of P1 activities. Qualification / Requirements. Cert/Diploma in Electronic/Software Engineering (or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Role. Must demonstrate ability to work autonomously. Knowledge of a Programming language would be beneficial. Knowledge of Web/Wiki development would be beneficial. Knowledge of CAD would be Beneficial. Knowledge of Minitab would be beneficial. Must be proficient with Microsoft applications and report generation. TestStand/Labview Experience would be Beneficial. Electronics Experience required. Automation experience required (Software and Hardware. Good communication & problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
