What you need to know. Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Moulding Process Technician to be based in the Co. Galway region. As the Moulding Process Technician you will work for our Manufacturing client who is in the Manufacturing sector. You will report to the Moulding Manager. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. This is a permanent position. Your new job. Monitor performance of equipment and automation to ensure targets are achieved. Troubleshooting and resolve technical issues at a fast pace. Set-up and monitor moulding processes. Develop new processes or systems to aid the department. Liaise with other sites in regards new mould introductions and exiting modifications. Liaise with vendors, local engineering and suppliers as required. Conduct total preventative maintenance on process equipment in line with company guidelines. Identify process deficiencies and implement solutions. What are we looking for? Educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical / Plastics Engineering or another relevant field. 4-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with experience 3 years’ experience in injection moulding environment. Knowledge of the principles of 5S, Kaizen, SMED. Experience in the maintenance of equipment and machinery. Knowledge of the transfer and validation of new moulds into production.
