You will be involved in the design, specify, manufacture, test and document of production equipment, changes and improvements. Your Responsibilities: Work on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluate feasibility of concepts, and provides formal estimates for mechanical designs. Creates mechanical designs and detail drawings utilising CAD modelling software, department standards, development tools and procedures. Design will include material and component selection, pneumatic and hydraulic system design and specification. Uses applicable EN standards and directives to ensure that equipment is CE compliant. Mechanical design / detail drawings 3D + 2D using Solidworks / AutoCAD. Produce project plans and reports using MS office software. Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate status and results. Ensure documentation/drawing standards for equipment meet the highest requirements. Requirements: 1 to 2 years of working experience in Solid Works with a background in a mechanical, electrical or equipment design. Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as MS Office Suite Products (e.g. Windows, Word, Excel. Good documentation experience. An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working knowledge or qualification in Solid Works and AutoCAD 3D packages.
