Software Programme Manager with 7+ years experience in a Senior Project Management role required for permanent role with a market-leading multinational in Co. Galway. Key Responsibilities: Management of Departmental R&D project managers worldwide. Provide Technical Leadership and decision making to R&D Project Mgt dept. team. Creation, deployment, maintenance and continuous best practise review of project management processes, policies and methods across sites. Manage R&D project management resources to prepare and organise project planning for cross functional input and scheduling. Ensure consistent delivery of robust systems to customers on time, within budget and to agreed quality objectives. Develop and manage training programs for R&D Project Managers in areas such as development processes, new standards, new technologies and particularly functional safety. Drive continuous improvement activities relating to project management across all sites. Ensure efficient Management and communication and control mechanisms are in place for all staff. Develop and maintain structured R&D PM Processes while ensuring clear alignment with Product Development roadmap. Requirements: Degree qualified. Minimum 7 years experience in a Technical Department Management or Senior Project Management role. Experience managing a team of project managers locally and remotely.
