On behalf of our client, a leading medical device company based in Co Galway, Elk Recruitment is looking for CVs from experienced Manufacturing Engineers. The role. Responsible for performing a variety of technical and support roles within production and manufacturing. Set up new Manufacturing Processes. Ensure that target yield, capacity, throughput and productivity are ensured. Design and construct "Lean" production lines. Installation and Validation of Manufacturing equipment. Provide ongoing day to day support to production , continuallyseeking to drive improvement. Establish and maintain relevant manufacturing documentation. Draft IQ/PQ/OQ protocols. Generate and get approval for project budgets. Manage project expenses and expenditure. Liaise with R&D, Quality and Operations to ensure that products are cost effective and meet the company's quality standards. The person. You must have an Engineering degree or equivalent. You must have at least 3 years experience of working in a similar role. Experience of having prepared SOPs, conducted IQ/OQ/PQ's and or validations is required. Experience in Product Transfers and Manufacturing process set up and scale-up. Procurement and Validation experience needed. Excellent knowledge of the regulatory environment necessary.
