Production Supervisor (Medical device) - Co. Galway. You will be a key member of the Value team charged with leading a team of Production employees to achieve production schedules in line with customer demand. Key Responsibilities: • Provides leadership to a team of Production personnel in achieving production builds of less invasive medical devices in line with customer requirements. • Recruit, motivate and lead a team to maximise performance. Handle any performance issues firmly and fairly using a leadership style that maximizes employee engagement. • As a key member of the Operations team on site, partner with others to ensure that the production process is streamlined and efficient and constantly apply a continuous improvement mindset throughout the process. • Promote compliance and excellence within the company to customer requirements and the applicable regulatory standards. • Implement Quality standards and specifications and help to ensure that Regulatory requirements are met. Continually seek to drive improvements in product and process quality. • Execute required validations in line with regulatory standards to include equipment, process and product validations. • Develop your team to maximise individual and team-wide potential, and highlight any training or specific development needs. • Create and maintain required documentation in line with appropriate regulatory and quality requirements. Qualifications and Experience Sought: Ideally an Engineering or Business degree or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Production Supervisor, ideally gained within a Medical Device or regulated environment. Established experience & capability in people management. Demonstrate a progressive approach to maximising employee motivation and engagement. Able to inspire high standards of performance from your team. An analytical approach to problem solving.
