System Engineer with 5 years experience in an electronic product development environment required for permanent role in Co. Galway. Responsibilities: Communicate with customer in relation customer specifications. Create Requirements management plan and work with relevant project management to communicate relevant contributors. Act as the overall project system requirements responsible and coordinate with all ‘system requirement’ contributors to ensure the necessary input at the right quality standard. Review of Customer Requirements and translate into internal Systems Requirements Specification. Elicitation and review of internal requirements for inclusion into system requirements specification linking with other requirement suppliers. Lead System FMEA generation for assigned project. General software, hardware & product design reviews, problem resolution, fmea analysis. Perform problem managememt role interfacing with customer, allocation of system bugs to appropriate functions and leading weekly review. Familarise with working system using bench equipment to enable view on delivered product and to understand customer problems. Complete scheduled tasks within assigned projects to deliver System output to the project team as per agreed timing plan. Ensure all systems work products are baselined & managed through the Configuration Management & Change Control processes. Carry out all work to comply with Quality Management System. Carry out activities in relation to functional safety (ISO26262) where applicable. Requirements: Degree in Software, Electronic, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
