CHEF DE PARTIE BUSY HIGH END RESTAURANT GALWAY. Salary €25,000 - €27,000. Chef de Partie required for prominent restaurant in Galway City to support the Head & Sous Chef with the organisation of their restaurant. It will be your duty to oversee the preparations of your section and also to supervise the Commis Chefs. Key Responsibilities. " Deliver the main sections of the daily menu ensuring timely preparation and high standard quality product. " Oversee the preparations of the full daily menu ensuring preparation and delivery to a high standard. " Support preparation of Menus, stock management & ordering, and preparation of food. " Preparation of specialty foods in line with menu planning and specific culinary skills. " Application and adherence to Food Safety Standards in line with legislative and company standards. " Support development of other chefs in the hotel. " To adhere to HACCP procedures at all times. " Application of Safe working in line with H&S and Safety Legislation. Qualifications & Experience. " Qualified chef with 5 years experience. " 2 - 3 years experience in a similar environment. " High volume experience an advantage. The ideal candidate for this position: " Must be focused on providing a consistently high standard of service. " Must be standards driven and detail-orientated. " Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment. " Must be flexible with regards to hours. " Must have a good command of the English Language. " Should have previous experience in similar role. " The successful candidate will have knowledge of HACCP.
