What you need to know. My client is a manufacturing company located in Co Galway and currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their team. This is a permanent role and you will report to the Operations Manager/R&D Manager. Your new job. Work with production to maintain and improve quality systems. Review quality systems and ensure compliance to regulations. Supervise, train, coach and provide guidance to site and staff in relation to quality. Management of customer complaints. Develop strong customer relations and ensure strong customer quality. Ensure problems are investigations and any non-conformances raised. Facilitating/Leading customer visits and audits. Support NPI/New equipment and related validations. Voice of the customer. Produce quality data and reports for the site. Carry out internal audits. Liaising with suppliers. Provide technical assistance relating to materials used in rotational moulding and pipe manufacture. Maintain calibration of all equipment on site. What are we looking for? 3rd level Degree in Engineering/Science or relevant. 3-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Process knowledge on Quality management systems, ISO 9001 or equivalent. Supervision experience. Strong customer quality experience. Problem solving and analysis skills.
