Our client is currently seeking to recruit a strong HR Generalist for Part-Time role based in Galway (3/4 days per week, could go full-time). This is a new role and you will be working very closely with the Director overseeing 2 business sites for all HR matters. Your main responsiblities will include: Act as a main point of contact for employee queries as well as coaching and advising managers on employee matters in line with company policy/procedures. Ensure company policies and procedures comply with best practice and all relevant employment legislation requirements - participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, processes and programs. On-going administration of the Human Resources Function with responsibility for the implementation and delivery of the day to day HR operation. Coach managers to handle queries in line with legislation and best practice. Interpreting and advising on employment law. Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures. Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation. Provide the business with meaningful metrics on recruitment, talent management, performance management, learning and development activity and other HR key performance indicators. Undertake ad-hoc project work, either independent or as part of a cross functional team. Develop and implement a best practice induction process for new employees including proactive management of the probation periods. Review and redesign, if necessary, the existing competency model framework and performance management process. Champion the people agenda by introducing fresh employee engagement initiatives. Proactively manage training requirements of employees including statutory training. If you meet the below we would love to hear from you: Min 3-5 years’ HR experience . Degree level in HRM or in a business related field and/ or CIPD qualification. Experience of administrating core HR processes including performance management, training and development, recruitment and selection and talent management.
