PE Global Healthcare are now recruiting a Domestic Violence Services Manager in Galway in association with a fantastic charity. Great benefits and Salary. The ideal candidate will have a proven interest and experience in the area of Domestic Violence and working in a similar type refuge. Essential experience and skills: Minimum of 3 years staff and organisational management experience including human resources policies and practices. Experience working in voluntary/NGO sector. Minimum of 5 years working with women who have experienced domestic, sexual and gender based violence. Relevant knowledge/experience of service provision including risk assessment and safety planning for women and children in crisis situations due to domestic violence. Up to date knowledge and experience of child protection issues. High level of communication skills. Intermediate IT skills including the ability to use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort and filter merges on excel. Desirable experience and skills: Media experience. Experience of interagency work and community development. Data protection. Experience of implementing quality standards. Awareness of a gendered analysis of domestic violence and how it informs interventions. Benefits: Annual Leave 27 days. Pension (after 1 year of service. Newly refurbished setting. Growing Service.
