Exciting opportunities have arisen for Fund Accounting Analysts to join an internationally recognised banking group with presence in almost 80 countries. These opportunities would be suit finance professionals who are client and results focused, with strong analytical skills. There a number of opportunities available at varying different Levels from Junior Level to Senior. Responsibilities: Reconcile and review trades, positions and cash in line with client service level agreement. Gather, review and validate portfolio pricing, ensuring any variances are escalated. Monitor corporate actions and process dividends at each valuation point in line with operating procedures. Prepare final trial balance, accruals and expenses on funds to ensure that information on account is up to date and complete. Prepare payment instruction for fees and expenses and act as signatory for the approval of payments when required in accordance with approved authorisation levels. Liaise with the Investor Services team to ensure accurate recording of shareholder capital activity and ensuring full client sign off and NAV reporting of investor activity. Analyse and review movements in the NAV, whilst understanding effects of P&L, side pockets and hedging on shares class NAVs and partner balances. Preparation of full NAV reporting pack for review by Fund Accounting Manager. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of NAV to client in accordance with client SLA. Recommend opportunities to enhance client focused service delivery where appropriate. Manage team(s) responsibly to ensure that all team members operate efficiently and adhere to internal procedures, SAS70 requirements and HFS best practice and policy. Ensure correct and efficient allocation of workload throughout the team. Understand and equip the team for future business challenges. Understand training and development needs of team members where relevant. Responsible for solving issues and incidents and monitoring delivery of solutions and overall service to client and the wider internal organisation. Skills and Experience. Third level qualification ideally specialising in Business, Finance or Accounting. A Professional Accounting Qualification would be an advantage. Minimum two years' experience in the alternative fund services industry desirable but not a necessary. Strong client focus - the ability to proactively manage deliverables to build client relationships. Demonstrate communication skills and the ability to add value to a busy operational team environment. Display the ambition to progress your career in the Funds industry.
