CARAGH PRECISION has established a leading position in the Design and Manufacture of high quality engineered components and products for Medical Device Industries in Ireland and Internationally. The company is now looking to fill the following position: Evening Shift QC Inspector required to work in metrology lab QC testing precision engineered parts. Responsibilities include: Undertaking first off, in process and final inspection. Use full range of conventional metrology equipment e.g. Micrometers, Digital Calipers, Shadow graph, thread gauges, etc. Operate advance metrology equipment: CMM. Smartscope. Tesa Scan. Tallyrond. Surface tester. Requirements: Can work on own initiative. Good attention to detail. Previous experiences as a product builder/general operator in a medical device company would be an advantage. Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook. Numerate with strong analytical and problem solving ability.
