Night Porter The Galway Bay Hotel are currently recruiting for a Night Porter: The successful candidate will manage and take responsibility for the Hotel at Night. Excellent presentation skills are required along with a positive ````````can do```````` attitude. Must be computer literate - knowledge of Front Desk Systems an advantage. Fluent level of written and spoken English is essential. Main Duties: To manage and take responsibility for the hotel at night. To carry out Reception Duties, i.e. check in, check out. To be responsible for the preparation and setting up of all Function and Meeting rooms. To perform security and fire checks at regular intervals. To ensure the highest levels of customer care are practised at all times. To deal with complaints in a courteous and efficient manner and inform the Early/Late Manager on duty. To manage all late drink orders. To maintain and monitor the cleanliness standards of the hotel. To have a good knowledge of Health & Safety & Security procedures.
