A large software company in Galway are seeking a Frontend Developer with strong HTML, CSS and Javascript/JQuery to join them for a 12 month initial contract. 2 years commercial experience is required. You'll join a highly skilled team that provides a variety of web related services including web development and maintenance, web applications development, development of tools to create online newsletters, web surveys, web analytics services etc. Day to day you will: Develop obespoke applications & web solutions to meet customer needs. Provide support in relation to the migration of sites to their respective hosting environments. Migrate images and documents into asset libraries. Build out pages and page navigation. Format text hyperlinks between pages. Provide Web support for specific Service Level Agreements in place including maintenance of sites, enewsletter creation etc. Provide customer demos of tools developed within the team, Implement new branding on platforms using CSS, web services, SharePoint designer. Skills Required. 3rd Level IT Qualification. 2 years’ Experience. Strong Knowledge of html, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. Desirable but not mandatory: Applications like Photoshop/Dreamweaver.
