Description

The SQA Analyst will be working in the IT Department as part of the software development team and will be responsible for identifying bugs, errors and missing functionality in software that is deployed primarily as web apps. The SQA Analyst will create and manage tests through recordings and scripts developed through automation tools such as Test Studio or selenium . Tasks. Design, develop, and implement automated testing systems, and evaluate output. Write, implement, and document test plans and cases to identify bugs and rewrite requirements as approved by stakeholders. Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products. Reproduce bugs, isolate causes, report bug details and verify fixes. Communicate efficiently with the software development team and deliver reports showing progress on SQA efforts to IT management. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Desired Experience. Very familiar with the Agile software development cycle and software quality assurance methodologies to help establish SQA. Programming experience that can be leveraged in creating effective automation testing for our software. SQL query writing to be able to pull data only as needed by test plans and cases approved by IT management. Required Skills. Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Great presentation skills. Problem-solving abilities and the ability to meet reasonable deadlines. Willingness to develop professionally. Ability to work with little supervision. Self-motivated when performing repetitive tasks. Ability to learn new things without formal training. General understanding of programing and scripting. Desired Skills. Test Studio. Selenium WebDriver and IDE. SQL query writing.
