Computer Vision Test Engineer - Galway. Description. Responsibilities; Design and Implement the Computer Vision (CV) Algorithms Test Strategy required to satisfy the needs of the project. Produce CV Test plans for each phase in line with the agreed Test Specification and Feature by Phase document, including timing plans & identified resources. Develop Scene Captures Catalogue for CV Algorithms Validation in accordance with internal and customer requirements. Manage the full execution of the CV Test plans for each phase including monitoring & controlling progress & collation, evaluation & reporting of all test results, both internally & externally, as per the verification process. Provide updated timing plans for planning and tracking test progress. Design Test strategies and test bench concepts sufficient to test customer requirements. Communicate to Tools Development Team on test bench requirements, customer milestones and delivery requirements. Work with Tools Development Team to design and develop Software in the loop (SiL) /Hardware in the loop (HIL) benches and data storage concepts to validate camera based advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS. Assist where needed with Tools Development Team on selection equipment suppliers/developers in the development of test solutions. Support development of ADTF filters, CAN gateways and other software/equipment necessary to support system validation. Automate SiL/HiL test equipment and implement continuous improvements to increase robustness and level of automation of the test system. Work closely with Algorithm developers and customers to define and agree the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each algorithm ensuring each KPI is tested as per requirement. Perform analysis on performance of the tested algorithms and provide it to algorithms developers. Work closely with internal/external contractors, Engineers and Technicians to ensure delivery of robust test solutions. Deal with customers and suppliers on a daily basis in relation to project needs. Develop alternative solutions to existing test applications for future projects keeping abreast of the industry standards. Participate in Technology/Supplier/Test tool selection for new projects. Carry out Vehicle level testing on site and off site at a customer’s site. Participate in Customer and Company workshops where required. Ensure ASPICE compliance. Qualifications. Requirements; Degree in Software Eng., Computer Science, Physics, Electronic Eng. or equivalent. Systems or Software testing experience, with min 1 years experience in a multifunctional environment, preferably a Computer Vision related role. Mindset of continuous improvement and self motivation.
