Job Title Procure To Pay Administrator
Description

Procure to Pay Administrator - EMEA Shared Service Centre

Temporary – 6 months

This role will support the accounting function with our multinational client in Galway. You will develop, learn new skills and take on responsibility in a financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices, expense reports and payment runs
  • Ensure payments are made in a timely manner and in accordance with the prescribed service standards
  • Support the Centralised GL Reconciliation process for all associated GL accounts for the EMEA region
  • Prepare/approve journals for month-end close
  • Reporting and analysis on a monthly basis for stakeholders
  • Monitor inter-company transactions and balances and ensure timely settlements
  • Review and ensure that all procedures are in compliance with Company policy
  • Liaise with suppliers/local offices
  • Ad hoc activities as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience working in accounts payable department prefered.
  • Any additional European language appreciated.
  • Experience in a multinational environment desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – pivot tables, v-lookups. Macros (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
  • Advanced ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional and technical disciplines.
