Working aspart of a team charged with meeting goals for Customer Experience and Service, Procurement Engineering, Operations and R&D Projects.
This role will involve elements of product and manufacturing process design on the entire range of products.
Core duties:
• Mechanical product design and detailed drafting of manufacturing drawings. • QC inspection of incoming parts, evaluating testing and approving sample components. • Process flow layout drawings, assembly work instructions, production process design. • Perform time studies and line balancing for new and existing products • Processing Eco’s and auditing design control documentation to ensure robust systems. • Develop robust inspection sheets to improve quality control of incoming components. • Communicate with suppliers in dealing with Eco’s, NCMRs, CARs, etc.
Additional Duties
• Contribute to customer service projects and customer training – this may require overseas travel. • Drafting technical manuals, documenting fault diagnosis work steps.
