Validation Engineer. PE Global requires a Validation Engineer for one of our clients in Galway, this position will be for 6 months initially.This position will provide design and verification control for equipment projects within the R&D department The role will provide direct contributions to the creation of lifecycle documentation for biomedical equipment. Testing and optimisation of existing equipment. In addition the position will involve responsibility in quality, budget and overall time management while also playing an important part in working directly with customers in understanding their equipment needs. The role will require the creation and maintenance of equipment lifecycle documentation. Responsibilities: • Contract position for a Validation Engineer. • Provide technical input throughout new equipment development. • Test and debug prototype equipment. Elec / Mech. • Creation of Risk Assessment documents. • Prepare, review and incorporate Engineering Change Notices. • Prepare coordinate equipment lifecycle test activities. • Provide technical content for equipment instruction manuals. • Develop project schedules, track and communicate project status. • Develop and maintain equipment lifecycle documentation as required. • Exercises good judgment within defined procedures and practices to drive decisions. Documentation will include:- • URS – User Requirement Specification. • TRM – Traceability Matrix. • RAS – Risk Assessment. • ES – Equipment Specification. • EDST – Equipment Development Software Testing. • IQ – Installation Qualification.
