Outstanding opportunity for a Software Engineer to be part of an exciting engagement in Ireland. You will join a BI team that is responsible for developing solutions for our brokerage and investment advisor clients. While the team uses a variety of technologies, we are seeking a database engineer with Oracle PL-SQL and UNIX scripting skills, and who is also interested in learning new technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Spark, etc.). The Expertise We’re Looking For. BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 3+ years’ experience in a data-centric development environment. Oracle PL/SQL and UNIX scripting experience, and ETL processingexperience an advantage. An engineer who is eager to learn new technologies, e.g. emerging big data technologies. The Purpose of Your Role. Your new team is currently engaged on a multi-year strategy to design and deliver a range of new functionality for our business partners and FI clients. Your role is a key contributor to in all facets of the delivery process aligned to this strategy. Hands on technical role onmedium to large projects. The Skills You Bring.
