Our Client require an Experienced Head Chef for this busy High End Restaurant located in the beautiful County of Mayo. The Role: Overall responsibility for the kitchen's daily operations. Leading & Developing the Team. Creating new dishes & redesign of menus. Controlling all costs in the kitchen efficiently. Monitoring and controlling stock levels. Keeping on top of all trends in the industry. Liaising with suppliers to ensure the restaurant offers the freshest, high quality products in the area at a competitive price. Skills Required. A proven track record in the industry at Head Chef level. A creative flair with strong culinary skills to compliment. An ability to create menus that are innovative and profitable. A deep understanding of ingredients and produce. The capacity to work under extreme pressure. Excellent leadership and management. The ability to delegate effectively. This is a hands-on role in a high end environment. This bar and restaurant is open 7 days a week. At least 3 years’ experience at a Head Chef level is required. This position would suit an ambitious Chef who wants to take on an exciting project and move the business forward.
