A Maintenance and Facilities Co-ordinator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Co. Galway based client as a CONTRACTOR. Responsible for maintenance activity across the facility as well as Providing technical support to Molding and Assembly departments and responsible for the Safety System. THE ROLE: * Efficiency of equipment - long term projects relating to the improvement of processes. * Management of the maintenance programme within the facility. * Responsible for the maintenance of the plant equipment. * Internal liaison for all maintenance activities. Liaison with all relevant functions where the activity may impact on performance. * Manage the maintenance software & database (Flex maintenance. * Manage and analyse of Data monitoring system (EFT. * Manage the safety systems (e.g. hazards, accidents, etc.). * Liaise with the relevant experts on products & processes in sister companies & external suppliers to ensure that the maintenance programmes are consistent with their recommendations. * Ensure compliance to the Health and Safety, Quality Environmental and Energy Management system (ISO 500001. * Ensure plant engineering documentation is kept up to date, facility drawings, P&IDS electrical schemes and wiring diagrams. REQUIREMENTS: * 5 years experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing operation. * Good Team player with excellent communication skills. * Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. * Advantage Flex Maintenance software or equivalent. * Mechanical and Electrical experience required. * Knowledge of utilities equipment such as compressors, chillers, heat exchangers, pumps. * Can read P&IDs, basic electrical diagrams.
