We have a career opportunity for a Bid and Technical Report Writer. The role forms part of the tender unit and will support all company business units in the preparation high quality submission documents. The role will also support projects producing publication deliverables such as technical reports, consultation materials, web content and the preparation of business development materials. The ideal Candidate. Arts, Marketing or Business Degree (Hons) qualified (Level 8) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional services environment. Qualification in creative and persuasive writing an advantage. The Role. Editing and reworking content for bid owners on company tenders. Preparing and maintaining guidance for employees on bid and technical report writing. Training employees on bid and technical report writing. Reviewing, editing reports for project managers on projects delivering publications for clients (i.e. national studies, plans, strategies, communication brochures / information leaflets, etc.) and. Writing and editing content for marketing / business development materials. Key Requirements. Expert Microsoft Word, Excel & professional capability. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience in preparing successful bids or proposals. The ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and. High level of attention to detail. Knowledge of engineering, environmental and professional services business would be an advantage.
