This position has the primary function of assisting Design Engineers with the design, documentation and procurement of equipment. You will report to the Automation Manager. Responsibilities: Work with Manufacturing/Automation Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures. Assist Design Engineers in investigating and implementing new production methods. Assist Design Engineers in part sourcing and documentation. Perform equipment qualifications. Interface with a variety ofpersonnel and with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above. Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment, changes and improvements. Requirements: Must be proficient in MS Office. Certificate/Diploma/senior trades in an electrical or mechanical discipline. Knowledge of electro-mechanical/pneumatics and control systems. Experience in medical device industry is an advantage but not essential. Capable of mechanical and electrical maintenance. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
