Job Title HR Administration

HR Administration: Galway City - Would suit a HR Grad with 1yrs experience

Manage the administrative recruitment process from authorisation through to offer. This involves advertising, liaising with agencies and candidates, setting up of interviews, generating offer letters and contracts, reference checking.


Setting up recruitment files, attending shortlist meetings. Conducting interviews agreed with the HR manager. Maintenance of Recruitment mailbox and of Recruitment Websites. Manage the day one induction day. Monitor probation periods for new starters. Monitor contract renewal dates. General Amendments to contract. Input Starters/leavers/employee changes into excel - data base. Source and schedule training as required. Maintain training records, retraining requirements and training plans. Collate absence data and communicate to payroll. Update monthly HR metrics. Assist in HR projects for administration purposes. Refer all disciplinary, grievance, accident, recruitment and contract matters to HR Manager. Deal with general employee and management queries referring where necessary to the HR Manager. Advise on HR policies and procedures. Maintain standard letters and forms

Requirements: HR Qualification and, ideally CIPD membership. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as HR AdministratorUnderstanding of general human resources policies and procedures. Excellent knowledge of employment/labour lawsEmployee Relations experience is desirable. Some experience of HR Systems. Advanced MS Office skills. Excellent organisational skills, with proven ability to multitask, while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and attention to detail. Possess enthusiastic attitude and strong communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative while strictly adhering to set rules and procedures
